Todd's 27th Birthday!!

The boss man himself! We all got together for Todd's 27th birthday shindig at Kimberly's house. It was supposed to be a surprise, but SOMEHOW Todd found out about it (Apparently sneaking up on one of your employees at work and reading his email over his shoulder is the cool thing to do! He nearly scared the crap out of Mike when he came up behind him and said "Todd's surprise party???") So instead of us surprising him, he wanted to surprise US. He opened the door to let everyone in yelling "SURPRISE!"

Greg and Sarah were there

An impromptu photo shoot broke out... Okay, Rich, your inspiration is sweet and innocent... Love those Doritos...

Practicing for his GQ cover shoot

Our party had a couple extra members that night: The lucky tykes to join in our fun were Mike's kids, Matthew...

...and Olivia (Ah! Way too cute!)

Matt and Olivia: "Daddy, we don't like this party."
Mike: "Yes you do!"

Grill Master Viscoe

Ryan and I........ We haven't' lived together for over six months, but it still totally seems like we're roommies. Ahh, ridiculous expressions... So attractive.

Ryan and Todd BOTH challenged Greg to arm wrestle them at the same time... yeah, Greg kicked both their asses.

What an awesome girlfriend Kimberly is to throw this birthday party for her boy :)

Reeeeeeeid!

Ryan hates me when I make him pose for pictures

At least Dave still thinks I'm cool.

Jen, Jamie, Gavin, Kim and Reid taking part in the after-dinner Bacci Ball competitions.

Greg, Sarah and Richard

The other Sarah and her hubby, Ben.

Sarah digs into the cake Jen made... and let me tell you - DAMN. That was amazing cake. I was hella impressed.... And then I found out it came from a box. Jen, next time you tell that story, you made the cake from SCRATCH! Hehehe.

Hey Dave, got pie?

Richard got a little too excited talking about that Snakes on a Plane movie.... He decided that for HIS birthday, all he wants is a Snakes on a Plane ice cream cake.

Happy Gavin

Ryan was telling some absolutely hilarious story that I can't even remember right now. But man, look at how excited he is... It HAD to be a killer story.

Damn, Greg! It's MY CAKE!!

Todd was pretty excited about his Jeep Dairy Queen ice cream birthday cake!

Kimberly and I

Matthew and his new best buddy, Reid.

Dave: "Michelle, stop messing around and give me my freaking cake already."

And finally, le piece de resistance... A monkey on a coat rack. The best gift I've ever given anyone.
Watch the BBC Office and you'll understand. :)
Happy birthday, Todd!
Neverblue Crew - Final game of the season, July 18th.

With mascot Harley in attendance, we knew this last game was going to be a good one. We gave it our all and only lost by ONE run! That's pretty damn good for the Neverblue Crew. We had an awesome season! We may not have been the best team out there, but no other team ever had as much fun out on the field than we did.

Brant's killer stance...

Shannon's at bat, and ready to knock one outta' the park.

Dunny doing his thang

Cara, Jordan, Katrena and Kim watching from the sidelines...

Yes, I not only take pictures, but I even PLAY every now and then too!
That's me running to second! And I was safe by a MILE.

All together now... "Awwwwww!"

Being the mascot sure is a tough job, but Harley doesn't seem to mind one bit.

Gavin coaching first base...

Mike was pretty much nominated to be our pitcher for the year

Jordan is like LIGHTNING!!

AH! I mean... HI TODD!

Shannon is oh-so-serious when it comes to softball.

Mike, Jordan, Brant, Ryan and Cara... Less than half of the Crew we had out for this game! Apparently the last game of the season makes all our players come out of the woodwork.

Ryan: "Wha?... Oh... Oh yeah, I'm totally into this game!..... Wake me up for my at-bat, would'ja?"

Okay, I don't care what anybody says - Harley was POSING for this shot. LOOK AT HIM!

An extra jersey + Harley.... What would YOU do in this situation??
Dressing up the dog really seems like the only logical solution.

He likes it!

Trip to Thetis

A few weekends ago, Meghann, Erin, Matt, Anders, Chris and I braved the hour-long bus ride to Thetis Lake for an afternoon of swimming.

This was probably the second time I'd been to Thetis since moving out of the View Royal house. When the boys and I lived on Pheasant Lane, we'd go to Thetis pretty much 4 or 5 times a week in the summer, it was that close. And considering I was the only one who'd been there before, and it had been a year since my last trip there... I only got our group lost once! Go me!

Anders jumping off the rocks...

Can you see Erin, Meghann and Anders swimming over to the island?

I said, "the only thing I don't much like about Thetis is that all the good swimming spots are off the rocks... You can't lie down anywhere!" Matt, determined to prove me wrong, lay down on the rocks for a good 10 minutes, saying "Mmm... Relaxing AND it's free acupuncture too!"

Oh look, I was there too!
