I figured since I haven't posted any real pictures in here for quite a while, I'd go for a walk with my camera today, and snap a bunch of new ones. Oak Bay seemed like a good choice, since it was close to my house, and I haven't really wandered around there much. Just a quick 30 or 40 minute jaunt around town. Good plan, right?

The obligatory bad picture of myself, complete with some brand-spanking-new freckles. The wind was so strong, it nearly blew me off the rock I was sitting on. Scared the Bejesus out of me!

I wandered around the waterfront on Beach Road for a while. I got some strange looks from people, seeing as I was on my own just snapping pictures of anything an everything. But an old man came up to me and said "I bet your photos turn out beautifully! Today is a perfect day for it!" Sweetest old man of my entire life.

I saw a Heron!.... At least, I think it's a heron! Haha. Anyone? Bueller?

I stopped on a bench outside the Oak Bay Marina and sat for a little bit, and I decided that I'd better start my way back home. It was then I realized that I wasn't quite sure where home was. Yikes. Lost in Oak Bay. Dun dun dunnnnn!

The sky started to get dark and I was pretty sure I was going to get rained on. I was pretty annoyed by this point. Who gets lost in Oak Bay? Really? Only me, I swear. I kept walking, thinking "I must be getting close to home now!"... And sure enough...

I ended up back at the Oak Bay Marina! Ahh! By this time I'd been walking around for 3 hours and was getting awfully tired! Fortunately, I found a street I recognized and found my way home... Oh, and I found something else, too! See....

Hey Dad, I know what I want for my birthday! Hehe!

I was just going through some pictures on my computer and I found this one which I'd completely forgotten all about.
We were moving out of the View Royal house and Todd accidentally cut his fingers up pretty bad.... Lucky for him, Kyle stepped in to patch up his friend's wounds... With duct tape.
Men.
Yeah.... wee bit of a sunburn there... smart, Michelle.
Andrew said he was going to bring paint swatches into work and try to match them to my skin.
